MOSES WAS A REFUGEE ?

Good morning to another wonderful cloudy summer day. I am expecting a new horse to be dropped off this afternoon for training, looking forward to getting to know him. May the Lord God bless us with enough this day.
As I was pursuing the news this morning on the Net I came across this (in fact they are discussing it on Fox News as I write this), NANCY PELOSI: MOSES WAS A REFUGEE TOO, JUST LIKE BABY JESUS, “Pelosi reminded reporters that it was the National Conference of Catholic Bishops that used the baby Jesus analogy. She then suggested that if Moses hadn’t have been accepted by the Egyptians, then there wouldn’t be the Ten Commandments.”

Below is an extract for a post I wrote answering the question, Who Would Jesus Deport?
I reckon that you can construe Joseph going to Egypt with Mary and baby Jesus after God told him to git as them being refugees.
“And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.” Matthew 2:13-15
However, I fail to see the parallel with all of the kids being dumped upon us from all over Central America. These parents are not bringing their children with them to escape persecution, they are sending them here along, all by themselves, with no one to comfort or care for them but the paid human smugglers, Coyotes, that have about as much love in them as a snake for a mouse, they only see them as dinner. Would an appeal to Jesus sway them in any way? Ask yourself if you would abandon your child to take such a long dangerous trip with such an uncertain future? What would you think about anyone who would do something like that in the US?
Now, with this she really show her ignorance of Moses’ life, the Hebrews had been living in Egypt since the time of Jacob, so it is hard to paint him as an refugee. Here is the story, “The Pharaoh had decreed that all the Hebrew boy babies were to be drowned at birth. In the 10 verses from Exodus 2, Yocheved, Moses’ mother, hides her newborn for 3 months and then places her baby in a caulked wicker basket in the Nile River reeds. The baby’s crying alerts one of the Pharaoh’s daughters who takes the baby. Moses’ sister Miriam watches in hiding, but comes out when it is clear the princess is planning to keep the child. She asks the princess if she would like a Hebrew midwife. The princess agrees and so Miriam arranges to have the real mother get paid to nurse her own child who now lives among the Egyptian royalty.”

Now try and draw a parallel with that to all of the so called children who are coming to our border. Is America threatening to drown any child in Central America? Do we, as taxpayers in America, have any responsibility for the condition in Central America, or any other part of the world for that matter?
