Blinding Desire

You know sometimes
You want it so
So bad
That you pretend that it is.

The desire blinds
The eye by
Presenting a perception
That covers the reality.

You fool yourself,
And sometime others,
But real is real
And pretend is pretend!

Sooner or later
The real clashes with
The pretend,
